Job Description
Based near Worksop my client is looking to recruit a bookkeeper on a temporary to permanent basis. Initially on a temporary basis for the first 8 weeks this role will progress into a permanent opportunity for the right candidate. Working closely with the company accountant you will assist with the day to day running of the accounts department. This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing company based in Worksop.
Your duties will include:
Overseeing and assisting with the purchase and sales ledger
Monthly payment runs via BACS and Cheque
Bank reconciliations
Trial balance
Payroll for 25 staff on Sage
Payroll year end
Updating fixed asset register
Month end reporting
Dealing with escalated credit control issues
For this job you must be able to demonstrate practical skills in bookkeeping. AAT qualification is preferred but not essential. For more information on this role please contact me on the details below.
